Celebrating Business in Regina
As we all know, our local business community plays a crucial role in growing Regina’s economy and supporting much needed social programming. In October, during small business week, we all have a chance to celebrate the fact that they are integral to the overall fabric of our city.
Over the past few years, we are proud to say that our local business community has shown the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, making them more resilient in the face of economic downturns or disruptions.
Small businesses are owned by entrepreneurs who bring new, fresh ideas and creativity to the marketplace. They have the freedom and flexibility to experiment and explore niche markets, which can lead to unique and valuable products and services.
Regina business owners also contribute to our diverse business culture. They come from a wide range of industries, backgrounds, and cultures, which enriches the business landscape and promotes inclusivity.
We have also found that locally owned businesses understand the importance of personalized and positive customer service. Because they appreciate your business, they build strong customer relationships and often offer tailor solutions to meet individual needs. This creates customer loyalty.
To promote and grow a strong local entrepreneurial spirit, we will be hosting a half day entrepreneurial summit on Wednesday, October 18 at the Italian Club, during small business week.
During the summit we will celebrating with these innovative leaders and owners by sharing ideas and opportunity.
Across Saskatchewan, small businesses contribute to job creation, innovation, economic growth, competition and the overall well-being of our communities.
We look forward to celebrating the vital role they play in continuing to make Regina a great place to work, play and raise a family.
