Foul Play 2: Beneath the Murky Waters

“This is not your average dinner party”

The RCMP Heritage Centre, in partnership with the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present Foul Play 2: Beneath the Murky Waters, an immersive evening of dining, deception, and detective work.

Set against the backdrop of a warm Saskatchewan summer night, Beneath the Murky Waters invites guests to dive into a mystery where scandals ripple just below the surface. What really happened? And who is responsible?

On Thursday, March 12, guests will step into the role of detective at the RCMP Heritage Centre.  As you investigate, you’ll enjoy a delicious three-course meal prepared by Memories Dining & Bar, because solving crime works up an appetite.

“We’re proud to work with the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce and our sponsor SaskGaming to host an interactive event that blends history, investigative science, and just the right touch of theatrical mischief into one unforgettable night,” said Sam Karikas, CEO of Regina Heritage Centre. “This is a special evening for friends to enjoy great food and a unique experience.”

Throughout the evening, guests can expect evidence and clues to surface course by course. Working with your tablemates, you’ll examine the facts, uncover secrets, and determine which suspect had the motive, the means, and the opportunity.

During the evening your detective team will:

  • Discover and investigate forensic evidence
  • Analyze witness statements, forensic findings, motives and alibies that don’t quite hold water
  • Debate theories and interrogate possibilities
  • Piece together the puzzle before the final course

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:00 p.m. (and yes, there is free parking, because even detectives appreciate convenience).

About the RCMP Heritage Centre:

Designed by the world-famous architect, Arthur Erickson, the RCMP Heritage Centre is a statuesque building that is home to the story of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This non-profit organization is located in the capital city of Regina, and neighbours the RCMP Saskatchewan headquarters and “Depot” Division.

Our galleries explore over a century of RCMP history, from the formation of the North-West Mounted Police in 1873, to the modern-day Mountie. With 150 years of history to share, our staff are dedicated to providing education, enjoyment, reflection, and dialogue. Visit https://rcmphc.com/ for more details about our education, programming, and events.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather, and where the RCMP Heritage Centre is located is Treaty 4 territory, which is the traditional territory of the Anihšinābēk, Nêhiyawak, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota Peoples, and the original home of the Métis Nation. We recognize and acknowledge their culture and contributions.
